The 1918 War Monument is the monument that comemorates the soldiers of World War I of Juliana. 300 soldiers fought in World War I in 1918 and 65 soldiers died. The monument is in Pisona, in the Pisona Centre neighbourhood. The monument is small and it was forgotten for many years in the communist period, because there only were a few veterans of the war and because they were soldiers of the Kingdom of Juliana. After the end of the communist period they started recognizing again the veterans of the war and every year there is a ceremony at the monument.
